RESEARCH - GET INVOLVED
We are currently researching the "coming out" experience from the perspective of the Christian child and the Christian parent. This will inform a resource we are planning which is designed to help mediate between children and parents and restore relationships that have been broken through mis-communication and lack of compassion one for another.
Whilst we, as a Ministry, have a firm theology, the planned resources are not intended to promote any doctrine or theology, simply to encourage families to reunite and live well together; reconciliation and love being the key. We have witnessed so much misunderstanding and sadness which has been exacerbated by poor communication and lack of mutual understanding, that we desire to help children and parents to find a middle ground of love and honouring each other.
Please consider answering our questionnaire - and if appropriate asking your child to complete one too. The questionnaires are specific, one for parents and one for children, but they are built on the same framework of questions to help us fully understand the processes each go through.

REGULAR meetings
We have three support groups meeting weekly and are starting a new 10 week Bible Study for parents of LGBTQ+ in September 2024.
One support group, predominantly for those in Asia, meets on Monday at 8pm India time, the call most suited for those in Europe and Africa meets on Monday 7pm UK time, and one which is most suited to those in the US meets Monday 7pm Eastern time. These meetings include time to share, some testimony and then group prayer as we join together to pray for children and other family members in the LGBTQ+ community.
Led by Sarah, founder of Transformed Ministries, supported by Lindsay on the Asia and Europe calls and by Divonna and Katrina in the US, the team bring many years of experience to the table.
Sarah was a lesbian for 30+ years before getting saved at 48 years of age. She was brought up in a Christian home but left the church as a teenager and pursued the world. The good news is that God never stops pursuing us, and he eventually caught her attention through a song on the radio! She gave her life to Jesus in 2015 and in 2019 she started Transformed Ministries. She looks forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with you as we go to the war room in prayer for your loved ones.
Lindsay has been married to her husband for over thirty years and they have children and a grandchild. Both of them grew up with confused sexuality but came to experience the transforming power of Jesus in this area of their lives. They've seen His same power at work in the many precious lives they've had the privilege to disciple and walk with over the last 13 years
Divonna battled in prayer for a decade for her daughter who was in lesbian relationships, and saw victory as her daughter returned to the Lord and is now living a victorious life in Jesus. Divonna has personal experience of this battle and brings her experience to the group in love and compassion.
Katrina was married to a woman for 26 years before she started to follow Jesus and is now free from her same sex attractions. Katrina has a daughter who is living with her lesbian partner and as such has much understanding and empathy for parents who are experiencing the same thing. Katrina's own powerful testimony of change is an encouragement to us all that God never stops chasing us down! Katrina has a strong calling to stand shoulder to shoulder with other parents.

We are starting a new 10 week bible study in September 2024 using the book - Uncommon Love - God's Heart for Parents of Gay Kids by Mary Comm. The book can be used individually as a study, but also has group sessions within it and has proved to be immensely helpful to those who completed the first four studies.

how does it work?
Pray at home, simply sign up and pledge to pray for 1 hour. We hope to have each hour covered by a number of committed prayer warriors!

We will provide prayer points to all who pledge to pray. In addition our wall of prayer will be available for all who wish to pray for specific people.
